Three Turtles and Eight Cranes Play

There are many small streamlets that approach Jeong Seon Eup from all directions. The streams look like snakes, snakes were a symbol of evil or malfortune. So the towns people buried 3 stone turtles and 8 stone cranes around the town to protect the town from bad luck.

Women prepare the food and have a ceremony to god of the sea.
Traditonal songs of Korea are performed and the people dance to it. Then they pray for peace and hormony between the local residents
